Can You Handle This?



I almost couldn't handle the Color Throwdown Challenge #112 this week, not because it was difficult but because I was sooooooo blown away by the Design Teams Cards that I almost couldn't breath for a moment.  The colors for this challenge were really quite fun to work with...yes I loved it!  My supplies:  The ribbon is from Offray, the Stamps are Hero Arts, lots of ink from StampinUp, Ruby Red, Mellow Moss, Really Rust and Only Orange.  The little bird is from 7 Gypsies, Chelsea brad.  Thanks for looking at my work!

Repeat Impressions S2210




The House that Stamps Built, Repeat Impression Sketch #S2210 for this month was something that sparked a memory when I was making quilts back in the day... sometimes we have to let our fabric work for us..in this case I let my paper work for me.  As you can see, I let the design in the Bobunny DP do some of the work :)  My supplies:  Stamp:  CTMH, Treasure Life, Ink:  Stampin Up, Old Olive and Taken with Teal, Paper: Bobunny Petal Pusher, Bloomers.  Thanks for stopping by and follow me if you please :)

Flutter by with butterflies



Flutter by Wednesday #24 presented us with a challenge of using butterflies, fairies or Angels with glitter and glitz.  I'm not a real glitzy girl but love to use my glitter glue when the opportunity presents itself, as it did here. I used lots of glitter glue on my butterfly and doily.  My stamps, I used Unity Stamps, Bevy of Butterflies and the ink was from Stampin Up, Mellow Moss, Bordering Blue and Blush Blossom.  The Paper I used is by Bobunny, Petal Pusher Garden.  The pearls are from Paperk Sticker and the Ribbon by Wrights.  I made the little rose using my 3 D die from sizzix.  The Doily is from Hallmark, Party Express.  Thanks for looking!

CPS #186

Woke up this morning to check in and found that I received an honorable mention from The Shabby Tea Room and was also a winner in 365 cards Blog...  what a way to start off a week.  It helps too because I am doing the first craft fair I have done in year on Saturday and I am a bit nervous.. this helped boost my confidence so much!  A special thanks to these blogs for recognizing me!

CCMC - 117 Inspiration Challenge

Get Sketchy #56


My daughter spent a week with my sister and her family in San Francisco last week, one of my most favorite places in the world to visit.  My daughter found this Painted Lady stamp, along with another of the Golden Gate Bridge which I will be using in the future, for me.  A glorious gift indeed.  So here is my painted lady card using the Get Sketchy inspiration (#56) as my guide.  I used it loosely this week :)
