Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 165

I worked a tough day today at the bank and when I came home I was thinking I need to escape to my happy place, my studio, and play for a few hours.  I was surprised when I started pulling paper for Stamping 411, SSC165, how I seemed to gravitate toward these soft colors, light pinks and blues.  It may be because my sweet niece is ready to have her second baby any day now and we are all so excited to welcome Lily into the world!  So here's to Lily and I want her to know, that yes...life is fun :)

My supply list is:  Paper, Little Yellow Bicycle, Snuggle Bug - Girl Pink Flannel
Maing Memories - Puffy Stickers, Giggle Kids
Stampin Up Ink - Mauve Mist
Stamp by Hero Arts
Ribbon Offray

Happy Summer Colors

Here is my creation for the Color Challenge 112, Create with Mary and Connie.  I love these combination of colors!  Thanks Mary and Connie.   I used CTMH Serendipity Stamp Set and stamped the leaves using the stamp away method to get the light hughes and then cut them out and assembled them to make part of the flower.  The Yellow part of my flower was made by using my Marvy heart punch and yellow paper.  I used Stampin Up Inks in Basic Black and Glorious Green.  I added a black button with twine and finished it off using white offray ribbon.  Thanks for taking a peek :)

Artist Trading Cards

I love making Artist Trading Cards and how fun to find a challenge that includes them.  I have hosted ATC trades online and in person for many years.   I found that 365 Cards blog is hosting an ATC challenge so check it out if you have a chance!

My card is made with Penny Lane Paper and Card stock, with mini prima flowers and pretty purple brads.  Enjoy!

A Sweet Little Bird to Welcome You to the Neighborhood

I had so much fun making this card.  I simply love the Unity Stamps and was able to incorporate them into one card that covers 2 challenges.  First the Curtain Call Act 43 and then CPS #180.  I think this card works for both of these and I used the hemp to work in the Kiwi Kiss color.  My supplies are lots of card stock, Hemp, heart buttons and a cute little blue brad.  I used the Unity Stamp Set, Stitched Greetings and Stampin Up Basic Black Ink.  Enjoy my card and I hope it inspires you to keep that white space around to make your colors pop!
