Get Sketchy #57

The Get Sketchy (#57) is one of my favorites and love this sketch they threw at us this week.  My stamp is from Hero Arts, I used Stampin Up Ink, Bordering Blue.  Recollections Pearl Stickers were used under my sentiment.  I used Offray Ribbon, the Paper is from my stash and I also used my circle punch to make my bird circles.  Thanks for stopping by.

Fab N Funky... Challenge #41 Quote me Happy!

Taylored Expressions #128

Get Sketchy #56

My daughter spent a week with my sister and her family in San Francisco last week, one of my most favorite places in the world to visit.  My daughter found this Painted Lady stamp, along with another of the Golden Gate Bridge which I will be using in the future, for me.  A glorious gift indeed.  So here is my painted lady card using the Get Sketchy inspiration (#56) as my guide.  I used it loosely this week :)

Curtain Call Act 48

Once again another wonderful Curtain Call Challenge Act 48.   Wow, what a mix of colors this week, quite the challenge.   It's funny how when I first look at these colors, I think, ah no way, I am going to skip this challenge this week... but of course my challenge ocd takes over and I must play.   I started pulling the papers, my creativity took over and viola!  My supply list:  Bazill Card Stock, Bobbin Ribbon Stampin Up Ink - Really Rust and Mellow Moss.  The Stamps are from Hero Arts and Bobunny.

365 Cards - Day 204 White Spaces

My entry for the wonderful 365 Cards Challenge Blog, White Spaces Day 204.  Love Love Love this challenge blog...on those days when you need inspiration or a reason to make a card.. you can always find it on this creative blog.  My supplies are:  Bazill Card Stock, Hero Arts Stamp, Stampin Up Ink, American Crafts Ribbon.  I also used my Sizzix 3 D die to make my roses and the leaves were cut with my Cricut.  Please enjoy :)

Color Throwdown #110

Once Again, Can I handle the Color Throwdown Challenge #110 ?  Not sure, but I gave it my all.  I am still loving my roses and this little bird.  This is my first time using Flower soft...strange that I would use it on a bird but what the heck!  My supplies for this card are Bazill Card Stock and Kioshi Paper.  The ribbon is from Bayberry Cottage and Martha Stewart.   The stamps from CTMH, Stampin Up and Bobunny.  I used Stampin Up Ink, Mellow Moss and Baroque Burgundy.  Have fun looking!

Back from Vacation

Hi Lovelies, I'm back from vacation and all rested up.  My husband and I had a wonderful time in South Carolina, a week at the shore can do wonders... especially if you can find a scrapbook store along the way.  We ventured to Pauleys Island and I spent a small fortune at Scrapbooks By The Sea, a wonderful find!

Our Kayak Adventure

Bill always finds the coolest places... he found this little inlet in Cherry Grove where we kayaked until we found this little beach and took some time out to relax and enjoy the water. Ahh what a nice vacation!

Vacation!

It's finally here, our vacation.  My husband and I are leaving for South Carolina this evening to spend a wonderful, glorious week on the beach, in the sun, relaxing.  We seem to have 2 different ideas of relaxing as our car has his bicycle on the back and on the roof of the car we have 2 kayaks.  Hummmm  I can see myself on the beach, reading a great book with perhaps an adult beverage or 2.  I love my guy, but he cannot sit still for a minute.  After almost 25 years of marriage we have a wonderful understanding of each other and had adopted the "live and let live" policy years ago.  So, I will be that girl on the beach with a book and a Miller Light.. he will be riding his bike in the morning and kayaking in the afternoon.  We will meet up for dinner and spend the evenings together.  I do love him so :)

BTW... I will have my laptop with me of course and will be checking in to see what is going on in the creative world, like my husbands bike and kayak, I too cannot live without my obsessions :)
