I love Kioshi Paper

I truly love this kioshi paper and now I am out, what to do, what to do?   Buy More!!!!  I made this card for both the Pals Paper Arts PPA59 and The Color Throwdown #109 Challenges this week.  Both sets of colors were so similar and my card seemed to work for each.  These were both wonderful color challenges this week and thanks to each for this fun adventure.  My supplies:  Paper - Kioshi

I created this card for the Stamping 411 Challenge 167.  I love the sketch they gave us this week.  Each week Stamping 411 sparks my creativity..  thanks for that!  My supplies for this card are:

Tag You're It!

This card I made for the Shabby Tea Room Week 26 Challenge.  A card with a tag.. my tag is hidden in plain sight in the middle of my card :)  Wow this was fun!  I really enjoyed working with my tag and these colors I pulled from my designer papers.  I am also entering this card in the Anything Challenge, Week 14, Say It With Flowers.  My first time on this blog...looks like fun!  Last but not least, this card is for the Fab and Funky Challenge, Living in a Material World.   My ribbon puts this card in the running for this challenge.  I love this blog, if you haven't check it out yet..give it a look!  My supply list is:

Curtain Call Act 46

Stampin With Stacey did it again with her color challenge, Act 46.  Quite the combination and kind of overwhelming at first.  I was surprised at how easy it came together and how fun it was to work with these 5 colors.  Thanks Stacey, once again for putting together a wonderful color challenge.  My supplies:  STAMPS - American Crafts, Dear Lizzy and Bobunny, Petal Pushers  INK - Stampin Up, Garden Green and Really Rust  RIBBON - the wonderful Offray PAPER - Bazill Card Stock and the pink background Card stock is from Archivers and the orange mesh I put over it is from my personal stash of wonderfulness as is the orange brad.  The pearls are from Recollections.  Enjoy!

Thanks so much to Connie and Mary for hosting this wonderful Challenge, CCMC114.  Lots of elements to play with here.  I went for an aged look with a lot of inking.  I love this Girls Paperie Paper..what fun colors.  My supplies for this card are:  Stamps - Impression Obsession, Square Frames.  Paper - The Girls Paperie, Paper Girl.  Ink - Stampin Up, Bordering Blue, Mellow Moss and Creamy Caramel and then Memento Ink, Rich Cocoa.  I used Recollections Pearl Stickers.  Bazill card stock for my leaves and roses, made with my Sizzix 3 D die.  Enjoy!

Case Study Challenge #4

Welcome to the Case Study Challenge #4 and here is my little card.   I was going for colorful and whimsical.  I love green and blue together so here my chance to toss the two together and use my sweet owl stamp by TPC Studio.  Thanks to the Case Study blog for their creative challenge.  My supplies:
Stamps - TCP Studio, Whimsical Birds and Bobunny, Flower Child.  The Inks I used were from Stampin Up, Bordering Blue, Night of Navy and Mellow Moss.  The Paper was Bazill Card Stock for the roses and the background and the DSP is Bobunny, Gift of Love - Petal Pushers - Garden.  I used Recollections Pearl Stickers and my leaves were made with my Cricut, I painted and inked them with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink.  Enjoy!

Divide and Conquer

This Challenge is for 365 Cards Day 188, Divide and Conquer.  Lots of work but lots of fun.  First I pained my 6 pieces of chipboard and inked the edges.  I then cut out the pretty stamped butterflies and inked those little guys too.  Thanks to 365 Cards for presenting this fun challenge.

Get Sketchy #54

I love the Get Sketchy (#54) challenge each week.  This week was interesting.. a lot of elements placed in and around the same area.  Quite the Challenge.  I used my tissue paper flowers for this, they spread a bit more than I thought but oh well, it's my take on this wonderful sketch.

My Supplies:  Ink - Stampin Up, Paper - The Girls Paperie, Ribbon - American Crafts and Offray, also Martha Stewart, Stamp - Stampin Up.  The metal heart is from Metal Sinage.  The Leaves I made with my Cricut and Memento Ink.  Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment.

A beautiful weekend and pretty creation

Oh My it is so beautiful here in Ohio on this Saturday.  Windows open, the cool breeze blowing through the house...we must be living well to be blessed with this wonderful weather.  So this morning before work I got up and put together with bookmark that can also be used as a gift tag.  I created this for several challenges, all wonderful.  The first is from Simon Says Pearls and Lace, the second challenge is PPA58 from Pals Paper Arts Pretty in Pearls and the third challenge is the Create a Bookmark from CCEE1038, this is new challenge blog for me and I think I'm going to love it :)

My Roses, I created using the sizzix 3 D die, the leaves I used my cricut, then I colored, chalked and molded them .

Incredible Paper Artist

I found information on this wonderful Paper Artist, Anna-Wili Highfield on one of my favorite blogs  Design80eight  .. Tissue Paper Flowers

I love flowers and when I find a wonderful tutorial or video on how to make flowers, I am all over that.  I found this one on Splitcoaststampers Site...    just a side note...I don't have those wonderful dies shown in the video so I simply sat in front of the tv one evening and started cutting, out of white tissue paper, wobbly circles (circles not quite right : )  three different sizes.   It seemed to work just as well.  So have at it my Lovelies and have fun!

365 Cards - Opposites Attract

In this fun challenge sponsored by 365 Cards, Day 184, we were told to pick our favorite color and our least favorite color and try to work them together.  Well I love green, all shades, all tones, green is my color.  Now orange...is my least favorite...  when picking my least favorite I kept searching for colors and skipping over orange of any shade..that's when I knew I had to grab it and I grabbed the least appealing to me.  On this card I used my versa mark pad to stamp the vine and then embossed it with embossing power and my heat gun.  I also used versa mark for my flower and did the tone on tone, versa mark on cardstock technique.  My supplies for this card were:  Versa Mark Pad, Bobunny Stamps - Flower Child,  Stampendous Raised Embossing Powder -  Olive Opaque, Rob and Bob snaps and the sticker on my ribbon is from MOD Designs.  The toughest part of making this card was stamping that orange color on the tag....gag over that Only Orange by Stampin Up.  LOL  But I did it!  Oh yes and the ribbon came from my stash of wonderfulness and my good friend Delisa!

Old Meets New in The Shabby Tea Room

In the Shabby Tea Room, Week 25..   we were challenged to create something using old and new and bring them together.  Everything on my card is new except for the card stock I used to make my ovals.  You can see how the once white stock has faded with sun and age... I would date this at least 7 years...  I loved this challenge!  My supplies are:  Paper, FSC Sources, the Girls Paperie..my stamps were from Cloud 9, Special Thoughts - Memories.  My Ink is Stampin Up, Baroque Burgundy.  I used Offray ribbon and Just Blooms - Autumn Leaves and My EK success Corner Punch.  I also used my sizzix 3D flower die to make my roses.

Color Throwdown #108

I truly love the Color Throwdown Challenge each week and this one was yummy!  I was able to pull some craft paper and use my elegant corner punch, I love the color combination and was even able to use my rose die cut!  My supplies:  Bazill Card Stock, Sizzix 3 D Flower Die, Stamps from Bobunny - Flower Child and Cloud 9 - Simple Thoughts, Memories.  EK Success Corner Punch, My Inks were Stampin Up, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss and my ribbon came from Michaels.  Thanks to Color Throwdown, Challenge #108 for this fun adventure!

Shape Up

I made this card for the 365 Card, #185 Shape Up Challenge.  We were asked to make a card with at least 5 sides to it.  I am sure my sides are not even but I did my best.  This was a fun challenge from a great Challenge Blog.  Thanks 365 Cards!  My supply list:  The paper, Cosmo Cricket, I used the Stampin Up Thank You stamp and the ink was also Stampin Up, Mellow Moss.  I used Recollections Pearl Stickers and the ribbons came from Martha Stewart and American Crafts.  Thanks for looking!

Simon Says - Paper Piecing

I know I have no chance of winning this challenge, Simon Says - Paper Piecing...but I do like my card.  It really has a very minimal amount of piecing on it but the colors are sweet and sunny and so I made it and there it is.  Please, take a look at the wonderful paper piecing going on over at Simon Says right now..it will surely take your breath away!  My supplies:  Stampin Up stamps - Perfect Party, Stampin Up Inks - Chocolate Chip, Basic Black and Positively Pink.  I used Bazill Card Stock and Bobbin Ribbon.

SFYTT I ♡ to Stamp

This card was created for I "heart" 2 stamp   SFYTT sketch challenge.  I really fell in love with the combination of these colors and had a great time putting this card together.  I used Memento Rich Cocoa Ink to stamp around the edges of my circles and painted them with Panitas Acrylic Paint, Midnight Blue.  The green ribbon is from Offray.  The paper in the background came from Vintage Findings and the green flower paper is from my stash of wonderfulness.  The stamp is from CTMH, Treasure Life and the pearl stickers are Recollections.  Other Inks I used are Stampin up, Garden Green and Night of Navy.

Taylored Expressions

I made this card for the Taylored Expressions Challenge TESC126.  The designer paper came from Scenic Route and was designed by Sarah Milne.  I used Recollections Pearl Stickers.  I painted my circles with Acrylic Paint - Honeycomb.  The stamp I used is from Making Memories, Giggle Kids.  I used Bazill Card Stock and Sizzix 3 D die to make my roses.  Last but not least my Ink is Stampin Up - creamy caramel.  Enjoy!

Curtain Call Act 45

My card for the Curtain Call Act 45, Sampin With Stacey.  I really loved these colors, especially the concord and the green together.  Brown was a wonderful accent.  My supplies:  Bazill Card Stock, Sizzix 3D Flower Die to make my roses, Stampin Up Ink, Garden Green and Chocolate chip, Magic Mesh, Bobunny Stamps - Petal Pushers and American Crafts - Dear Lizzy - Whistle.  I also used Stampin Up Marker - Garden Green.  My swirl was made using my Cricut Storybook cartridge and finally Recollections pearl stickers.  Thanks Stacey!
