Get Sketchy #51



You gotta love the Get Sketchy Challenge (#51), it always seems to get my creative juices running.  This sketch gave me a chance to use my 1 inch punch and make little inchies using my butterfly stamp.  Thanks to the Get Sketchy folks for hosting this wonderful challenge.   My supply list is as follows:

Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 42

Here is my card for The House That Stamps Built Sketch Challenge A1110.  I love the soft colors of this Basic Grey Paper and the little birds stamped with Bordering Blue Ink from Stampin Up.  Thanks to The House That Stamps Built for Hosting this Challenge.  My supply list is:  Basic Grey Wisteria Paper, Stamps by Unity (Bevy of Butterflies) and CTMH.  Stampin Up Ink - Bordering Blue, Kaesers Pearls.  Silk Green ribbon and I also used my heart punch.  Enjoy and thanks for looking in :)

Color Throwdow #105 - Can You Handle This?




I absolutely Love Love Love the Color Throwdown Challenge (#105).  You simply pick your colors from your paper stash and the rest is up to you...no boundries other than color.  I even used cork on this card because it matched the soft suede suggestion. If you have not tried to stamp on cork, you should give it a try!  My supply list is:  Bazille card stock, Unity Stamps - Bevy of Butterflies, Basic Black Stampin Up Ink, Anitas Acrylic Paint, I used my square inch punch and Recollections Rhinestone stickers.

The Shabby Tea Room Week 22 - Reflections



Here is my entry for the Shabby Tea Room  Week 22  "Reflections"  Challenge.  I envisioned this by looking through a window of a restaurant and remembering a quiet romantic dinner, years ago with an old acquaintance.  My colors were not exactly the same as the inspiration photo but I  was concentrating more on the theme.   Enjoy!
My supply list is:  Stamp by Just For Fun, Ink is Stampin Up  Basic Black.  I also used Stampin Up watercolor pencils and blenders.  The ribbon is Celebrate It - Sheer Creations and I also used Recollections pearl stickers.

Flower Parade Color Inspiration Challenge




This is my very first attempt at the Color Inspiration Challenge hosted by The Classroom and Ellen Hutson.  This particular challenge is titled the Flower Parade.  This was my first attempt at making paper roses also...not great but not too shabby I suppose :)  My supply list is:

CPS - 179 Part 1




Here is my entry for The Card Positioning System #179 Part 1.  I saw this sketch last night before I went to sleep and thought about it through the night...this is what I had in mind.  I think it's elegance and clean look are just what I was going for.   My supply list is as follows:  Stamp - Stampin Up and the Ink is Basic Black from Stampin Up.   Lots of white card stock, Recollections Pearl Stickers.  Ribbon, Michaels and Celebrate It - Sheer Creations.  Cuttlebug and Sizzix embossing plates.  Marvy flower punch.  Thanks to CPS for hosting this challenge.

I NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS, RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE!




It's 98 degrees outside and It feels hot indoors and out in this kind of sweltering heat.  "I need a little Christmas" is my favorite Christmas song and I found myself humming it the other day at work.  When I saw the "Sing It Baby" Challenge from Simon Says I knew I had to do my Christmas card.

Here is my entry for the new Curtain Call Act 41.  Wow, I love this color combination!  I used white pigment Ink for the stamping and heat set the pretty tree.  I love this technique.  My supply list is:
